Wow, last post June 23rd? That was a heck of a long time ago.
I signed up for the Chicago marathon yesterday. I don't really know why, mostly to redeem myself after not finishing 2 years ago I guess (hey, it was really really hot!).
To get myself in the training spirit, and because of the exceptional 40 degree day we're having, I went out for a lovely run by the lake. I spent most of the morning perfecting my running playlist, and lets just say that it definitely did not let me down!
I don't know if I can take any more of winter, today left me lusting after summer. I met the boy that I am currently seeing at the tail-end of this past summer, we spent most of our time together outside while it was still warm, and even into the winter, while the cold was still somewhat bearable. I couldn't help but think about how long ago all of that feels, when really it was only months ago. Please come back nice weather!!!
